The product is the latest enhancement to the "mother of all naval wargames", Computer Harpoon, first released in 1989 for DOS PC and Macintosh.

Since then, the game has been overhauled and expanded to provide a challenge to naval gamers wishing to engage the fleets and aircraft of 2003. This edition features a reworked AI, an enhanced Scenario Editor, updated Databases and.. a Platform Editor for the advanced players.
